Video of Police Arrests during 21 Jan 2007 Anti Toll Hike Demonstration in Cheras

Here's a couple of pictures from merdekareview.com and a video of people being arrested by the police during the 21 Jan 2007 Anti Toll Hike Demonstration in Cheras.

Reports are that they were man-handled by the police. The Sun: http://www.sun2surf.com/article.cfm?id=16771

The first picture above clearly shows the policemen grasping the windpipe of the protestor. I'm not sure if this is the correct restraining technique according to the police standing orders, but I've never seen it used during Cops, Bad Boys, 911 or 999 on tv before.

In the video, check out the plainclothes policeman in a blue shirt and blue trousers who climbs into the police truck with the 2 arrested chaps near the end of the video. Looks to me, he's definitely swinging punches at one of them in the police truck.

It's this mean-looking, ugly bastard.

This is no less than assaulting a restrained (handcuffed) person. He wasn't fighting, he wasn't kicking and punching... he was just asking to pick up his damn shoe.

How about the IPCMC now?

OMG, is really terrible of what had happened, is really shame on the policeman, and good job for you to post it up!
